About Scott

     Scott Fluhr is a conservative Republican and lifelong Harrison County resident.

     He is from Corydon and is the son of retired Corydon Central High School teachers Lawrence and Peggy Fluhr. Scott works as a human resources analyst and has volunteered as chairman of the Harrison County Republican Party for almost eighteen years.

Conservative Leader

     Harrison County was the home of Frank O’Bannon, the last Democrat elected Governor of Indiana, but under Scott’s leadership the county GOP has turned Harrison County into a Republican stronghold with every single county and township office held by Republicans and President Donald Trump receiving over 72% of the vote in 2020 and 2024.

Community Volunteer

     Outside of politics, Scott is also active in our community. He volunteers on the Harrison County Popcorn Festival committee and is chairman of the annual Popcorn Festival Parade, which is famous for spraying popcorn all over Corydon’s streets each summer. He volunteers as President of the Harrison County Parks & Recreation Board, on the Harrison County Tourism Board, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the National Rifle Association. Scott went to St. Joseph Catholic School and Corydon Central High School, then graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a business degree.
